| | | A Great Combination Part of the world's most popular racing franchise, Need for Speed: Undercover brings you break-neck cop chases and spectacular highway battles in a world of high-stakes and high-speed action with some of the world’s hottest cars. The all-new Heroic Driving Engine propels the action forward as players experience the dramatic story through spectacular Hollywood-style live-action in-game movies. And what better way to experience all the action than with the full featured Logitech Speed Force Wireless Wheel. While Logitech has been a leader in the force-feedback industry since 1998, this is the first force feedback wheel for the Wii and paves the way for more exciting new racing titles on the Wii console. High Performance with Comfort and Convenience The Logitech's Speed Force Wireless Wheel is easy to set up and store and features a one-piece design that is convenient to use in any position. The gas and brake controls are built into the wheel itself, while the lap rest is both adjustable and expandable, making it comfortable even without a table or desk. Minimizing clutter by eliminating the console cable, Logitech's 2.4 GHz wireless technology lets you enjoy lag-free racing from up to 30 feet away. And all this comes with the intuitive Wii controls that make navigating game menus a breeze. Standard controllers don't let you feel what you are doing, while vibration feedback and rumble technology just shake the controller. The force feedback system in the Wii Logitech Speed Force Wireless Wheel simulates directionally precise, tactile feedback so users feel the steering wheel move as it would when subjected to actual external forces. And with no mounting or assembly required, all you have to do to start racing is connect the USB receiver to your Wii console, plug in the wheel's power cord, get comfortable and let the race begin. What's in the Box: The Wii Logitech Speed Force Wireless Wheel, 2.4 GHz USB mini-receiver, AC power supply with a 12-foot cord, Quick-start guide, one-year limited hardware warranty.

Great with F1 2009, has analog gas and brake! November 25, 2009 John E. Moscato 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
This is a quality wheel for the Wii. It's easy to setup, and I've used it with F1 2009 so far. One thing the product specs don't mention (or maybe I missed it) is that the gas and brake paddles behind the wheel are actually analog, which is fantastic! I expected them to be just on/off switches, but they have a good range of motion and are definitely analog, at least in F1 2009, and make car control that much better. I highly recommend this wheel, especially considering that you can buy a new one now for much less than the retail price. It doesn't work with all Wii driving games, but compatible ones I know about so far are F1 2009, Speed Zone, Dirt 2, Ferrari Challenge, and Need for Speed Undercover. I'll be trying all of them...
Lack of Game support June 24, 2010 M. Vadkerti (Cypress, CA) Pro:
As quality of this product goes, it's solid and great.
Con:
But I just don't understand why Logitech couldn't make this wheel simulate a regular Wii controller via Bluetooth. The regular Wii controller doesn't use the IR bar to control driving games and only Bluetooth communication is done between the Wii and the standard controller. Logitech should have taken this route to make this wheel compatible with all the games, old and new. But I guess the USB connection was needed for the more advanced features like the force-feedback and the analog pedals. Therefore Logitech should have incorporated both connections (USB and Bluetooth) into this wheel. The appropriate connection could have been automatically selected by the wheel whether the USB cable was plugged in or not. Although the idea is great, the execution is nothing short of a failure. Such a dual communication wheel may cost more to manufacture and the company may not make as much of a profit, but just look how much of a discount these duds are offered at; up to 90% off. Sad.
Great Control not enough games May 21, 2010 Wayne E. Ridenhour Jr (Memphis TN) This wii controller is far better for racing than just holding the wii controller in the air. The gas and brakes are analog (not just an on-off button). I use it with F1 2009, just wish it worked with other games like Mario Kart.
Best Wii steeering wheel available February 1, 2010 Rudie J. Allison (Fort Madison,Iowa USA) For use on the Formula 1 2009 I think this is the best steering wheel available, It doesn't seem to work for the Indianapolis 500 though. The only way it could be improved is by putting the throttle and brake on foot pedals (maybe on the next version?). Over all, if you like the racing games this is a worthy investment to add realism and fun.
Fun equiptment January 9, 2010 Heather Elloiott (Arlington, Texas) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This logitech wheel is fun for the kidsbut.... I didn't read carefully to realize my kids could only play need for speed undercover on it.
I bought two for two players.
Kids are happy with it, they just wish it would work on
more games.
